TIRED FURNITURE

The furniture, silent guardians of everyday life, could be considered fundamental presences in the management of our living space.
They help us conserve energy, supporting our bodies and objects; they warm us and cover us, sometimes becoming precious confidants.
But what would happen if furniture, tired of its supportive role, began to show signs of failure and fatigue?
How could the resistance of their structures change if the weight of human use suddenly became unbearable?
This is the eventuality my work is interested in investigating: the hypothetical reality of tired furniture seeking an escape route from the inconsiderate use by humans.
